drummer and after keyboard player, he took part in all the studios cds for more
than 10 years. He's Robert's friend since the schools and round the two of them
and Michael the Cure's nucleus developes. They decide together that Michael has
to leave, and when also Simon leaves the band they remain alone. After some
year he tells he was sure they would have restarted playing, because their
friendship was too strong. During this period he also produces two records of
the And also the tree and one of the Baroque Bordello. In 1984 he appears in
the b-side "The elephant song" of Tim Pope's single, "I want to
be a tree". Meanwhile after "Pornography" Lol decided to change
to keyboards, because he thought he used up his potentialities as drummer. In
early 1989 he leaves the band because Robert thinks he doesn't contribute
anymore to the work. Lol accuses him to monopolize the band, and in 1991 he
takes him in tribunal asserting to have right to more money. In September 1994
he loses the cause. After leaving the Cure he founds his new group, the Presence,
who release two singles: "In wonder" and "All I see".
